Laptops

Laptops are probably the most popular type of computer currently on the market. Nearly every computer manufacturer in the world has at least one laptop model, and most have several. While today’s models are lightweight and slim in design, this wasn’t always the case.

The earliest laptops were heavy, bulky units. Unlike the models of today, these computers were often the size of a small suitcase. However, the fact that they could be taken anywhere made them not only more practical for the average business person, they also became somewhat of a status symbol. These early laptop models were very rudimentary when compared to what we have today.

Today’s laptops have many advanced features that make them vastly superior to past versions. Dual processors and an extremely large memory capacity allow modern laptop models to perform tasks that were inconceivable only a few years ago. Big computing capabilities in the smallest possible package are what the modern laptop computer is all about.
